Dispensing Pharmacy Technician

We are an independently owned Long Term Care pharmacy, located in the southwest suburb of Crestwood, IL, about 20 miles from downtown Chicago. Inc. Essential Functions include but are not limited to*:

  1. Manual dispensing and packaging
  2. Operating automated dispensing machine and verification machinery
  3. Receiving inventory
  4. Toting/Packaging orders for shipping

Non-Essential functions:

  1. Leads by example exhibiting the CORE Values each day
  2. Encourages teamwork and promotes company philosophy
  3. Attends required company meetings
  4. Completes all required courses in adherence with RPS
  5. Is prompt and able to perform the required duties of the position on a regular, predictable basis
  6. All employees are responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all
  7. Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Proactive learner who seeks first to understand – must be an innovative and resourceful problem solver 
  2. Mature and professional adult who will always do the right thing and make it right if we make a mistake!    
  3. Meticulously attentive to every detail - If you are easily overwhelmed or distracted with a hefty amount of multitasking, this is not the position for you.
  4. Over-achiever who is determined to be the best - We are looking for an organized, reliable “doer” that follows through with deliverables, seeks to exceed expectations, and always completes assigned tasks - always! 
  5. Mindful individual who feeds their mind, body and soul with what makes them happy, healthy and content 
  6. High school diploma or equivalent
  7. Active IL Pharmacy Tech license or Pharmacy Tech Certification preferred
  8. Some experience preferred in pharmacy
